Jerome Masamaka (Perth, Western Australia)

Jerome Masamaka is a poet, an academic and literary scholar of Ghanaian origin who now resides in Perth, Australia. He has a PhD in English and Creative Writing. He previously taught African and postcolonial literatures at the University of Ghana. He has published poems in various anthologies and literary journals in Africa, Australia and the US. His maiden collection of poetry was published by Centre for Stories (Perth) and Red River Press (India). He is currently working on another collection (which he calls culinary projects) dedicated to the culinary cultures of Africa, Australia and Asia.
